We are located in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks

OUR GOAL IS TO PRODUCE TOP QUALITY BOXERS WITH OUTSTANDING TEMPERMENT, LONGEVITY, HEALTH AND OUTSTANDING CONFORMATION.

WE BELIEVE IN AND BREED BY THE ABC CODE OF ETHICS.

Lando Boxers was established in 2004.

Dean and I have been involved in dogs for many years. Having shown and bred English Mastiffs for approximatley 15 years.

In 2002, after having an accident, it was decided that the Mastiffs were to big for me to handle. We decided to begin our search for a smaller breed. I researched many breeds. Nothing seemed to fit in the other groups and I kept coming back to my love of the working breeds.

One day Dean mentioned boxers...So I began to research the breed. We were looking for a energetic, intelligent, working dog, that was easier for me to handle. We found that and so much more in the BOXER.

I began our search for our first boxer. After much research and talking to breeders all over North America, I found a show breeder in Wisconsin who was willing to give a newbie to the breed a chance.

We purchased our girl TADD'S RUBY IN THE SKYE aka Skye-Bot from Tom and Donna Doane of TADD Boxers. I couldn't have found  better mentors and friends than I have in the DOANE's. They have been wonderful and there are not enough words to express my gratitude.

Thus was the beginning of  LANDO Boxers.

Our boxers participate in Conformation, Obedience, Rally and Agility and Therapy work thru Therapy Dogs Inc.

 

HOW WE GOT OUR NAME: I've had alot of people ask how we came up with the name LANDO. It's a combination on my first intial and my husband's first Initial and then our last name

JULY 2010

I FINALLY GOT THE SITE UPDATED.

IT'S BEEN A BUSY SPRING AND SUMMER HERE.

I'VE ADDED 2 NEW PAGES WITH OUR FUTURE SHOW PROSPECTS DECCA AND DUSTY.

WE HAVE A BREEDING PLANNED FOR NEXT MONTH. STORMY WILL BE BRED TO  CH.BENTBROOKS TEXAS TROOPER(JAKE)

JETT WILL START HER SHOW CAREER IN EARNEST AT THE WAUKESHA, WI SHOWS WITH TESS SAVAGE AT THE LEAD.

Sorry for not keeping the site updated..but it's been quite busy around here.

Our Feb. litter did not go as planned...I lost the 2 Flashy males within a couple weeks of Birth.

We have decided to keep the plain male and flashy girl and they are currently residing here at Lando and at Tadd Boxers.

My next litter is planned for early fall 2010. Stormy will be bred to ????? ( we are still searching)
